Hatteras offers the highest quality 1 through 6 color offset and digital sheet-fed printing as well as stochastic printing for enhanced color transition.

Our latest and greatest pressroom acquisition is a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 105. The 62 ton press can fly, printing 18,000 sph. With Heidelberg’s automated sheet travel, newly developed feeder and delivery, and high performance inking/dampening system, the quality of this press is sure to turn heads. Scanning Densitometers communicate with the press allowing for color adjustments on the fly. In addition, our pressroom lineup includes a Heidelberg Speedmaster 52, a Heidelberg Speedmaster 40” Perfector and CD-102’s with inline aqueous coating towers. Also, all inks can be formulated at any time thanks to our in-house ink manufacturing capabilities.

The Speedmaster 52 is ideal for direct mail projects – delivering the same high quality as a 40" Heidelberg but with a 20" x 14" sheet size that makes it extremely flexible for both short and medium run lengths. We also produce high quality 5-color envelopes. Our large format CD 6-color presses can handle any weight stock from 50lb. text to 40pt. board with full solid markfree printing, full aqueous or spot coating. We can print on all types of materials, such as ClingZ, plastic and styrene. In addition, Hatteras leads the industry in high quality conventional printing with variable data applied through our high speed Digital Presses or inkjets.
